Vino de frutas Mini-Kit

I have a new minikit for you, but first I have a favor to ask - can you please oh please go to youtube and watch this video and leave a comment / rate it. It's for a challenge I am doing for an online support group I am in. If you know anyone who is married to / dating a law enforcement officer, have them check us out at www.policewives.org

So, I just kinda lost interest in this kit, so I decided to share what I have done. I love the elements, but just couldn't get any mojo for the papers or frames. :( There are more elements than what are shown in the preview - same designs, just more color choices. You can download just the elements, which are higher resolution for scrappers, or the papers and elements minikit, which is designed with taggers in mind. Drop shadows on preview only.

Feel free to share the link to my blog through any groups or with your friends, but please do not share the download link. Also, please do not share my kits, in full or in part. If you know someone that would like it, just send them here please. THANKS!

Tutorial using my May Color Challenge kit

Well, nothing new today, but I am working on a new scrap kit. This one is taking my awhile because I can't get my mojo. lol I thought I was inspired, but now I'm thinking I may put this idea on the back burner and start on a new one, IDK. Anyway, I wanted to let you guys know that I do have a tutorial up using my May Color Challenge kit. You can find it here:

http://tutsbyj0eswife.webs.com/colorsofmay.htm

Here's what your result might look like :)

If you end up trying the tutorial, I would love to see your results! Email them to me at tutsbyj0eswife@gmail.com

On a completely personal note, I am going to see the new Indiana Jones movie either Thursday or Friday and I am SOOOOO excited! I love the previous 3 films, and I have heard that this one is just as good. Can't wait! :)

Just Beachy - Alpha

I have created an Alpha to go along with the Just Beachy kit. I probably won't do many alphas because I personally don't use them, but I thought this beach scene was screaming to be made into letters! :) I have included the font that the alpha is based on (which is okay per the font creators TOU) in case you want to use it in your tags / scrapbooking. The alphas are 200dpi, and roughly 400x400.

Feel free to share the link to my blog through any groups or with your friends, but please do not share the download link - thanks!

Just Beachy - Add On

This is just a little add on for the Just Beachy kit. There are 5 glass elements - a shark, a dolphin, a stingray, a fish, and a whale. I am working on an Alpha which I hopefully will have up tomorrow. But for now, I have got to get some sleep :) In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the add on. :)

"Just Beachy" Freebie

Okay, I am completely addicted to making scrapkits - especially elements. I have some programs on free trial, and I am dreading the day I can't play with them anymore! Oh well, until then I will be busy on the PC, especially if we keep getting such rainy days here!

Today I wanted to work on something summery, which led me to a picture of the beach. I did not do a preview of the frames, but the tagger kit has 20 or so, and the full size kit has a dozen or so.

Elements are larger than in the preview, and all files are .png files (all my kits are).....

Again, there are no papers in the full size kit, sorry but my PC just won't let me...

A new kit in honor of Police Week

Today is National Peace Officers’ Memorial Day, when we should all take a moment to remember the countless law enforcement officers who have given their lives protecting ours. Last year, 187 officers died in the line of duty - that's over one every two days. You may think of them as the guys that write tickets, but to many of us they are husbands, fathers, and friends. They help little old ladies who have fallen in their homes, women who have been battered, children who have been abused, as well as policing the streets to keep them safe for you and me. Did you know that when an officer pulls you over - it's not actually because he is out to get you?! Officers catch many dangerous criminals through routine traffic stops, not to mention countless numbers of drunken drivers.

This week is known as "Police Week," and thousands will gather in Washington DC to honor those who have fallen. Do me a favor - this week when you see a cop - instead of thanking God that you didn't get pulled over, why don't you instead ask God to protect that officer and to bring them safely home to their family.

So, in honor of them, I decided to do my next freebie in "Blues." You can get it tagger sized, or at 300dpi. However - the 300dpi kit does NOT include any papers (and not all the frames and elements), my PC just can't handle those massive images.

The preview doesn't show everything, and drop shadows are on the preview only. Elements in the preview are resized 60%.

Thanks for looking and remember to say a prayer today for the boys in blue.

My first mask

I made this mask for a tutorial I am writing (using my scrapkit of course!). I thought some of you might want to snag it, so here it is for your snagging pleasure. Just please don't change the file name and don't claim it as your own. Tutorial writers, feel free to upload it with your supplies, but please credit me and include a link back to this blog. Thanks!

Elements and Full kit ready!

Well, with it being Mother's Day, I've not gotten off the computer much. Except of course to eat dinner - thanks to the hubby for picking up Outback so I didn't have to cook. :) So, I finished the elements. I am not 100% happy with the buttons, but hey - it's my first try. And, no bows, because I haven't learned how to yet - Sorry!

Some of the elements have been resized so they'd fit on the preview page. Click the preview to download the elements.

Frames to match the papers

First off - Happy Mother's Day!

I made these frames today, they are very simplistic, but maybe someone will find them useful. :) And yeah - previews are harder to do than I thought! Dropshadows are only on the preview, and I resized the circle frames so they would fit... Click the preview to download.

Here goes nothing!

Okay, so this is my first official blog - Yay me! lol So, for a long while I have wanted to try my hand at making scrap kits. Finally tonight I dove in and made some papers using the colors for DSO's May color challenge. They are tagger sized and *hopefully* I will add some elements eventually. TOU - Don't claim as your own. Don't make money off of them (unless you talk to me first). Tutorial writers - refer people to my blog here, and please DON'T share them with your supplies. That's about it for terms! Until then, have fun with them! Papers are previewed below, click on the preview to download.
